The Government is implementing Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) with effect from 01.01.2017, across the country, including in the State of Uttar Pradesh. There is no ‘Ready to Eat Food Scheme’ being implemented in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The funds under PMMVY are released to the State Governments. Thus, the Government does not maintain district-wise and Anganwadi Centre-wise amount of funds released under PMMVY. The year-wise details of funds released under PMMVY to the State of Uttar Pradesh are as under:

The Ministry has conveyed approval of the pan-India implementation of PMMVY to all States/Union Territories vide letter dated 19.05.2017. The Scheme Implementation Guidelines of PMMVY were issued on 01.09.2017.
As PMMVY scheme is being implemented through the State Governments/ UT Administrations, any complaints received regarding irregularities in implementation of the scheme are referred to the concerned State Governments/ UT Administrations for taking appropriate remedial action.
This information was given by the Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, in a written reply in Lok Sabha today.
