The State-wise details of the electrical energy generated through various sources of energy in the country for the year 2021-22 is given in Annexure.

- The major steps taken by the Ministry for imposing Ease of Doing Business in renewable energy sector, inter-alia, include the following:-
- Issuance of Guidelines for Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process for Procurement of Power from Grid Connected Solar PV Power Projects.
- Implementation of Dispute Resolution Mechanism.
- Permitting Letters of Undertaking from specified Financial Institutions under MNRE & Ministry of Power as alternatives to Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) / Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG).
