Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering college located in Upper Indira Nagar, Bibwewadi, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The institute was established in 1983 and it is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

ishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune Model United Nations (VIT Pune MUN) is a 3-day Model United Nations conference held every year at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune.
VIT Pune MUN holds discussions on world’s most pressing issues along with providing a chance to act upon them. The conference aligns its work with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations and works with all participants to bring the change.
VIT Pune MUN offers students a chance to experience the working of the United Nations and gives a feel of working at the world stage by assuming the roles of world leaders and international policymakers in multiple committees. It acts as a platform for students to come together to discuss, debate and try to find innovative solutions on important national and international issues. Participants develop crucial skills throughout the conference in every domain, some of which are diplomacy, leadership, teamwork, public speaking, and negotiation.

The VIT MUN 2022
VIT Pune is organizing the 7th edition of VIT Pune MUN which is scheduled to be held on 6th-7th-8th May, 2022.
VIT Pune MUN is one of the leading Model United Nations Conferences in the state of Maharashtra, organised by the enthusiastic students of VIT Pune. With the efforts put in by the Secretariat, Organising Committee, and Volunteers we were able to host many delegates from different parts of India.
In response to their commitment towards the conference and with an experienced team on board they have received wide acclaim for their hospitality, delegate experience, and quality of debate. They have hosted the likes of Mr. Soumya Basu, a Patent Prosecutor from Delhi, who is heralded as one of the best in the Country, Mr. Shivam Kakadia an attorney at Bombay High Court, Ms. Rini Antony an avid debater who has had the honour of representing the country at Harvard WorldMUN and an employee at Google, and Mr. Satrajit Sahani a recipient of NIE (Times of India) Student of the Year award in 2011, as members of the Executive Board.
The VIT Pune MUN committee is also known for their innovative committees and agendas that stand relevant to current happenings around the globe. In this way, they address the important issues of the world.

How to Register?
Delegates willing to register for VIT Pune MUN must fill out the registration form. After filling out the form, they will receive an email regarding further instructions.
Note: At least 7 members from an institute are necessary to qualify as a delegation.
