Union Minister and Minister of State for Ministry of MSME facilitated and hosted lunch for the beneficiaries of National SC-ST Hub scheme invited to witness Independence Day Ceremony 2025

Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi and Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, facilitated the ‘Special Guests’, the beneficiaries of National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) scheme invited along with their spouses by the Government of India to witness the Independence Day Ceremony, 2025 at Red Fort, New Delhi. Lunch was also hosted for these ‘Special Guests’ at the residence of the Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi in New Delhi today.

Shri. S. C. L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME welcomed the ‘Special Guests’. Officials from the Ministry of MSME were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he is delighted to host SC/ST entrepreneurs invited by the Government of India as Special Guests to witness Independence Day Celebration 2025. He said that “ the Prime Minister, with the objective to develop a culture of  entrepreneurship amongst SC/ST entrepreneurs and achieve the mandate of procurement from SC/ST MSEs as per Public Procurement Policy of Government of India from MSE, launched National SC-ST Hub scheme in October, 2016. The scheme provides a comprehensive eco system to support SC/ST entrepreneurs.”

The Union Minister for MSME further emphasised that the MSME sector would play a crucial role to make India Viksit Bharat. He said that under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ministry of MSME has launched various initiatives to support MSMEs including SC/ST entrepreneurs.

Minister of State for Ministry of MSME Sushri Shobha Karandlaje also welcomed the Special Guests and motivated them to work hard to achieve the vision of  Viksit Bharat by 2047. She further highlighted that the Ministry of MSME, through its various schemes, is committed to the growth of the MSME sector.

The ‘Special Guests’ have been invited from both rural and urban areas, representing various States, including the North-Eastern States and Union Territories.

Some of the ‘Special Guests’ also shared their entrepreneurial journey. They also expressed gratitude to the Government of India for inviting them as ‘Special Guest’ to witness the 79th Independence Day Ceremony 2025.
