4.Balance amountof Rs. 10,00,000/-hasbeenpaidtorespondentNo. 2todaythroughDDNo. 239204dated25.04.2024drawnonStateBankofIndia, KohatEnclavePitampura, NewDelhiinfavour of respondentNo. 2,
interms ofsettlement betweenthe parties.
5.LearnedASC for the State submitsthatinviewof amicable settlementbetweentheparties, the State hasnoobjectionincase the FIRinquestionis
quashed.
6.Petitioners aswellasrespondentNo. 2arepresentinpersonandhavebeenidentifiedbySIDeepikaandSIShamsher, PS PashchimVihar. Ihave
interactedwiththe partiesandtheyconfirmthatthe matter hasbeenamicablysettledbetweenthemwithoutanythreat,pressureorcoercion.
RespondentNo. 2alsostatesthatnothingremainstobe further adjudicatedupon between the parties andshe has no objection in case the FIR inquestionisquashed.
7.Consideringthe factsandcircumstances,since the matter hasbeenamicablysettledbetweenthe parties, nousefulpurpose shallbeservedbykeepingthecase pending. Itwouldbe nothingbutanabuseoftheprocessof
Court. Consequently, FIR No. 428/2022,under Sections498A/406/34IPC
