Rajya Sabha witnesses a special moment today – an ode to Naari Shakti  

Rajya Sabha witnessed a historic first today when the Chair, speaker and table staff – were all women for a brief period during the debate in the House.

When Rajya Sabha Member, Smt. Mamata Mohanta was speaking in the House, Smt. Phangnon Konyak was presiding over the proceedings and the table in the well of the House was occupied by officials who were all women.
