Schedule Tribe female enrolment in universities and colleges register 63.4 percentage increase in 2020-21 as compared to 2014-15.

As per information received from the concerned Departments, the table showing the representation of SC/ST/OBC in Central Government since 2014-2021 is at Annexure-I and the table showing social group wise enrollment in Higher Education since 2014-15 is at Annexure-II. It is seen that the representation of OBC against total appointment made through direct recruitment has been consistently above 27% during this period and the enrollment of OBCs in Higher Educational Institutions has been consistently increasing since 2014-15.

There is no proposal to review the existing reservation scheme.
