MSE-SPICE Scheme

The MSE- SPICE scheme envisages enabling more than 3400 MSEs to adopt Circular Economy (CE) solutions.  As on 12th December 2024, six MSE accounts have been assisted under MSE- SPICE scheme. Out of the total outlay of Rs. 472.5 Cr for MSE- SPICE scheme, the total expenditure incurred, as on 12.12.2024 is Rs.1.31 Cr.

The MSE SPICE scheme encourages recirculation of resources in the MSMEs through the strategies of reducing, reusing and recycling of resources, which includes re-processing waste materials in the following eleven sectors:

As on 12.12.2024, one MSE from Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra has been assisted under MSE-SPICE scheme.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Ministry of MSME, Smt. Sushri Shobha Karandlaje in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
