3. Present petition has been filed seeking direction to trace/recover the husband of the petitioner namely Sh.Vimal Kumar.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner states that the petitioner filed a complaint about her missing husband on 09.02.2023 whose whereabouts went missing on 08.02.2023 and the position remains the same till date.
5. Learned counsel for petitioner further states that it has been 8 months since the petitioners husband went missing and yet FIR has not been registered by the police officials.
6. Notice issued.
7. Learned Standing Counsel for State accepts notice and on instructions from Insp. Gulshan Gupta from Police Station Paschim Vihar (West) submits that as per the inquiry raised from parents and relatives of the husband of the petitioner, it has been informed that there is some matrimonial discord inter se the parties, therefore, they could not extract exact information with respect to whereabouts of the husband of the petitioner.
8. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that apprehension of the petitioner is that he is abducted.
9. Accordingly, State is directed to register an FIR as per law.
10. It is directed that as and when husband of the petitioner is traced out, information shall be transmitted to the petitioner.
11. In view of above, petition is disposed of.
