Minister for Minority Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju to Inaugurate PM VIKAS Training Centre at Tilak Nagar, New Delhi tomorrow

Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju will inaugurate the Tilak Nagar training centre and officially commence the training by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) under the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) scheme tomorrow (16th July, 2025 ).

The centre has been set up by the DSGMC, which has been onboarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs as an implementing agency under the PM VIKAS scheme, to implement a project covering 31,600 candidates—including 29,600 for skill development training and 2,000 for educational support.

The training centre at Tilak Nagar will provide industry-aligned skill training in high-demand job roles such as Technical Artist (AR-VR), Social Media Influencer and General Duty Assistant among others. The training program is free of cost for the candidates and the Ministry will also provide monthly stipend to the candidates for the training.
