Investment under NEIDS

The North East Industrial Development Scheme (NEIDS), 2017, implemented by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), was notified on 12.04.2018, which came into force w.e.f. 01.04.2017. The registration module of NEIDS, 2017 was closed on 31.03.2022. Under NEIDS, 2017, a total of 1211 applications for investment amounting to Rs.10117.50 crore (approx) have been received. Of these, as on date, a total of eligible 926 industrial units (including conditional registrations) with investment amounting to Rs.7551.12 crore have been registered.
This information was given by Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Shri G. Kishan Reddy in the Lok Sabha in a written reply today.
