INLAND WATERWAYS IN PUNJAB
Out of the 111 National Waterways (NWs) declared vide National Waterways Act, 2016, 4 National Waterways i.e. NW-17, NW-45, NW-84 & NW-98 are in the State of Punjab. The details of the functional/operational National Waterways (NWs) in the country are attached as Annexure-1. The focus of the Government is to develop these declared National Waterways.
