Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Banswara, Rajasthan

In Lok Sabha, , the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey replying today to an un-starred question of Shri Rajkumar Roat  informed that Though the twin criteria is to be satisfied for creation of EMRS Schools in a block, no new Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are under consideration, apart from those already approved by the Union Cabinet in 2018-19 and earlier EMRSs sanctioned under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, as the Ministry is currently focusing on the already approved 728 EMRSs only.

Under Banswara Parliamentary Constituency all the 13 blocks fulfill the EMRS Twin criteria of minimum 20,000 ST population in a block and more than 50% ST population in the block. District and Block wise details of EMRSs is as under:
