As per the scheme guidelines, out of the total outlay in a year, a minimum of 50% amount is earmarked for Interest Subsidy to the women candidates, however the ratio of the subsidy claims for the women candidates received is less than 50 per cent of the total claims. The claims are settled through a web portal which is open to any student to apply and avail the benefit of this scheme.
