CURRENT PROGRESS OF MARITIME INDIA VISION 2030 IN UTTAR PRADESH

Details of the projects approved/initiated/completed in the State of Uttar Pradesh during the Financial Year (2024–25) under Maritime India Vision 2030, and the financial provision and expenditure made for the development of National Waterways in the State during the said period, are annexed at Annexure–I.

On NW-1 cargo movement increased from 5.05 million MT in 2014-15 to 16.38 million MT in 2024-25. In the current Financial Year (2025-26), 13.30 million MT cargo has been moved till January, 2026. These projects are expected to generate significant employment in the state.
