PROFIT BY CPSEs
PROFIT BY CPSEs
As informed by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance, DPE brings out an Annual Report on the performance of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) titled “Public Enterprises Survey (PE Survey)”, which is based on the data/information furnished by the respective CPSEs.
As per the Public Enterprises Survey 2024-25 report, the cognate group-wise and CPSE-wise net profit of 226 profit-making operating CPSEs for the Financial Year 2024-25, along with their net profit/loss for the years 2022-23 and 2023-24, is at Annexure–I.
The Cognate group wise, CPSE wise Net loss of 63 loss incurring Operating CPSEs for the Financial Years 2024-25 alongwith their Net profit/loss for the years 2022-23 and 2023-24 is at Annexure II.
The CPSEs function under the administrative control of respective administrative Ministries/Departments. Enterprise specific measures, including restructuring/revival, are taken by the respective Boards of the CPSEs and their concerned administrative Ministries/Departments in terms of extant policies and guidelines.
