Ministry of Panchayati Raj to Showcase AI-Powered Grassroots Governance Solutions at India AI Impact Expo 2026, New Delhi

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj will be participating in the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam (Hall 5, Booth 5F5 and 5F9), New Delhi during 16th to 20th February 2026, to showcase Artificial Intelligence(AI) enabled solutions developed to strengthen grassroots governance, improve administrative efficiency and enhance accountability in public service delivery.

The AI solutions being demonstrated include SabhaSaar – an AI-powered solution for recording, transcribing, and summarising Gram Sabha and official meetings into structured, accurate, and actionable Minutes of Meeting; PRAMAN (Panchayati Raj Asset Monitoring and Notification) – an image analytics-based system for automated validation of uploaded asset photographs, including quality assessment, authenticity checks, and duplication detection; and eGramSaathi – an AI chatbot designed to assist Panchayat officials and citizens by providing information, guidance and responses related to governance processes and services. Key highlight of the booth will be immersive and interactive engagement formats that demonstrates how AI simplifies complex administrative processes. Visitors can also experience a first-hand ‘Be the Sarpanch’, a role-based interactive simulation demonstrating AI-enabled decision documentation through the traditional Nukkad Natak method and live working demonstrations of the AI platforms through guided walkthroughs.

At the Expo, the Ministry will showcase emerging technologies addressing governance challenges at the Panchayat and local administration levels, while contributing to the policy discourse on responsible and impactful use of AI in public systems. Visitors will be able to experience live demonstrations of AI-enabled platforms at an interactive exhibition booth, conceptualised as an experiential space offering immersive and guided engagements on practical AI applications in grassroots governance. Through its exhibits, the Ministry aims to highlight AI as an enabler of effective governance, showcase scalable digital innovations for local governments and reaffirm its commitment to citizen-centric, policy-led adoption of emerging technologies.
