Southern Command Hosts Synergy Conference to Strengthen Defence Finance Integration

A Synergy Conference was conducted at Headquarters Southern Command, Pune, bringing together all key stakeholders including the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command), Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), and senior officials from various formation headquarters.
The conference focused on diverse aspects of defence finance and resource management, with the objective of enhancing jointness and ensuring greater synergy through policy alignment. The deliberations underscored the importance of seamless coordination between operational and financial domains to further strengthen mission preparedness and troop welfare.
The conference was attended by senior officers from the Defence Accounts Department, IFA, and formation headquarters. Shri M. S. Saravanan, IDAS, Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), Southern Command (Army), served as the nodal officer and coordinated the event in close collaboration with HQ Southern Command and the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command).
The event was highly appreciated by all participants for promoting a spirit of cooperation, transparency, and efficiency in financial management, reinforcing the shared commitment towards operational readiness and the welfare of the armed forces.
