Villages under PMJUGA

Replying today an un-starred question of Shri.Kaushalendra Kumar, Shri Dinesh Chandra Yadav and Shri Giridhri Yadav,  the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed Lok Sabha today that the DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan comprises of 25 interventions implemented by 17 line Ministries and aims to saturate infrastructural gaps in 63,843 villages, improve access to health, education, housing, electrification, telecommunication and providing livelihood opportunities benefiting more than 5 crore tribals in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks in 30 States/UTs in 5 years.

The current progress/achievement under DAJGUA scheme as on 18.08.2025 is given below:

(i) Skilling Centres in tribal districts (ii) Training of 1000 VDVKs and tribal groups

Skilling centres: Rs 6 Cr released. 30 Skilling Centres sanctioned. First Tribal Skill center inaugurated in Sonbhadra (UP).
Training of VDVKs: For FY 24-25 : Rs 2.21 Cr was released for training programmes in 50 VDVKs. 2 Master trainers per VDVK are being trained under MoT programme who will carry out capacity building training in identified 50 VDVKs. 30 out of 100 Master trainers trained till now. For FY25-list of 250 VDVKs is awaited from TRIFED.
By 31 Sept: 4 Cr expected to be released towards recurring grant for training in skilling centres and 5.16 Cr for training in 50 VDVKs

Guidelines have been modified. Regional consultation has been done. Proposals have been approved for 10 States/UTs , i.e. for Assam, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Tripura, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh with total project cost of Rs. 5218 Lakh -Central share of Rs. 2968.91 Lakh, state share of Rs. 1747.99 Lakh and beneficiary share of Rs. 501.10 Lakh.

National Livestock Mission

Livestock management support to 8500 IFR holders

Guidelines for Implementation of DA-JGUA under the National Livestock Mission was issued to States dated 29.11.2024. Proposals have been sought from state. Project proposal for Odisha, which include a list of 1,050 units (Goat, Poultry, Pig Units), across 27 districts, amounting to Rs.1 Cr is approved.

Proposal from the following states has been received and under consideration: MP-Rs 1Cr, Assam-Rs. 1.5Cr, GJ- Rs.30Lakh and Sikkim-Rs. 1.5Cr

FRA Claim Support

(i) Proposals of preparation for 920 Community Forest Resource Rights Management Plans have been approved covering more than 90,000 hectares of forest land. (ii) Approved proposal for setting up FRA cells at 17 State Level, 324 District Level and 90 Sub Divisional Level Cells. And fund has been released to 6 States. (iii) 4 state have their portals and approved for 5 states for digitalization of claim process.
