Ministry of Ayush Promotes Indian Traditional Medicine Systems Globally with WHO Agreement, Academic Collaborations, and Export Promotion Initiatives

Ministry of Ayush has undertaken following initiatives to promote Indian traditional medicine systems globally:

The MoUs signed with foreign countries for collaboration in the field of Ayush during last two years is attached at Annexure.

India is positioning itself as a global leader in traditional medicine through initiatives like the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre (GTMC). This center, established in partnership with the World Health Organization, is a key step in promoting traditional medicine. It will serve as a key knowledge hub for evidence-based Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) on a global scale.
