The 19th Statistics Day will celebrate on 29th June 2025, commemorating the remarkable contributions of Late Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in the field of Official Statistics and Economic Planning post-independence. This day will observe annually, recognizes his pioneering efforts in shaping the statistical landscape of India and its role in nation-building. The celebration will held at the NSSO Bhawan, Ahmedabad, and will organize by the Field Operations Division (FOD) of the National Statistics Office (NSO).
