1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 19961 for extension of the mandate of the arbitrator in seisin of the disputes between the parties.

2. It is stated that the mandate of the learned arbitrator has expired on 1 December 2023.

3. The learned Counsel for the respondents has no objection.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned arbitrator stands extended by one year from today. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal shall be treated as continuing from the date of its expiry till today.

5. The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
