3. The present petition has been filed in the nature of habeas corpus for direction to the concerned police officials to produce the wife of the petitioner and her son, before this Court.
4. Today, Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel (Criminal) for Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (“GNCTD”), has handed over the Status Report to this Court. The wife of the petitioner, along with her minor child, who is stated to be 4 years of age, is also present before this Court.
5. The Status Report submitted by learned Standing Counsel is taken on record.
6. This Court has interacted with the wife of the petitioner, who submits that she does not wish to stay with the petitioner and has moved from the house of the petitioner on her own volition. She further submits that she is staying with someone else, out of her own choice.
7. At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the child is 4 years of age, and is required to be admitted to a school.
8. To this, the wife of the petitioner submits that she will get the child admitted to a school, and that the proper education of the child shall be taken care of.
9. Accordingly, since the wife of the petitioner is present before this Court along with her minor son, and has categorically stated that she has left the house of the petitioner on her own account, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
10. The present petition is disposed of, accordingly.
