J U D G M E N T (oral)
1. Present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to produce the brother of the petitioner i.e. Mr.Imran before this Court.
2. Pursuant to order dated 01.08.2023, Delhi Police has placed on record the Status report wherein it is stated that brother of the petitioner Md.Imran, aged 30 years s/o Md.Safi Ahmad r/o O-1, Haji Colony, Gaffar Manzil, Jamia Nagar, Delhi had left his house on 02.05.2022 at 8.30 PM. A missing report was accordingly registered at Police Station Jamia Nagar vide DD No.88A dated 03.05.2022 wherein it was stated that Md. Imran was mentally weak.

On 05.05.2022, search was made in the local area and during the search, the neighbours were also examined and the CCTV footages of cameras installed in the area were also checked but no clue was found. On 03.05.2022, details of the missing boy were uploaded at ZIP Net along with his photograph and the information regarding the same was also sent to NCRB and SCRB on 26.07.2023, on Doordarshan on 02.06.2022 at Missing person squad on 03.05.2022 and at Kidnapping Cell on 26.07.2023 for necessary action regarding his search.
4. It is further stated in the status report that missing boy was not carrying any mobile phone with him at the time when he left his home, therefore, tracing through mobile phone is not possible. The Hue and Cry notice was prepared with the photograph of missing boy and the same was also circulated in the area and pasted at railway stations, bus stands, auto rickshaw stands etc. The information regarding the same was also published in local newspapers of Delhi and sent to Anti-Kidnapping Cell, CBI, New Delhi. The search was also made at different hospitals of Delhi, IHBAS Hospital, Dilshad Garden on 25.07.2023 and 09.08.2023 but no clue was found.
5. Further, the search of missing boy was also made at different mortuaries and Hospitals of Delhi regarding any UIDB (unidentified dead body), but no dead body resembling to the missing boy was found.

Learned APP submits that despite all possible efforts, no clue has been found regarding the missing boy Imran, therefore, a case vide FIR No.294/2023 under Sections 365 IPC has been registered at Police Station Jamia Nagar on 31.07.2023 and investigation has been taken up by ASI Tunda Ram. The pictures of the missing boy Md. Imran were pasted personally at different police stations.
7. He also submits that the search of missing boy Md.Imran is still in progress and all possible efforts are being done to trace him.
8. Learned APP also submits that as stated by father of the missing boy that earlier also Md.Imran went missing five times and he came home on his own.
9. Heard and we have perused the material available on record. As per the status report, all the efforts have been taken by the investigating authorities and it has been undertaken that as and when missing boy is found, information to this effect shall be given to the petitioner.
10. In view of above, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
