3. Petitioner is aggrieved of the fact that on 24.08.2023, her minor sister Ms. ‘R’ went to the tailor shop to pick up some clothes, however, she never returned. On 28.08.2023, the petitioner informed the local police and consequently, FIR No.0453/2023 dated 28.08.2023 was registered at Police Station Sarita Vihar for the offence punishable under Section 363 IPC. However, two months have passed and no steps have been taken so far to trace the sister of the petitioner. Therefore, present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to trace the missing minor sister of the petitioner Ms. ‘R’ and produce her before the Court.
4. Mr.Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel (Criminal) for Delhi Police has informed this Court that the hitherto, missing minor sister Ms. ‘R’ of the petitioner has already been recovered by the police and handed over to the petitioner.
5. In view of above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
