1. Mr. Saquib Arbab, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that the grievance of his client in this writ petition would stand satisfied if his client is permitted to submit the application form for undertaking the VI Semester examinations of the B. Com (Prog.) under the Bharati College, University of Delhi.
2. Ms. Rashmi Singhania, learned Counsel for the Delhi University, submits that the last date for submitting application form stands extended till 12 April 2024 vide Notification/Ref. No. Exam. VII/2024/08 dated 4 April 2024 and that if the petitioner visits the college where she is studying, she would be permitted to submit the application form offline.
3. She also undertakes to instruct the college authorities accordingly.
4. Ms. Beenashaw N. Soni, who appears for the College undertakes to instruct her client accordingly.
5. The petitioner is directed, therefore, to visit the respondent College within 24 hours and submit the application form for undertaking the VI Semester examination of B.Com (P). On receipt of the concerned application form, the college would issue the necessary admit card to the petitioner.
6. Ms. Singhania also requests that this case may not be treated as a precedent and that the petitioner is being permitted to submit the application form as a special case.
7. The submission is noted. This order shall not be treated as a precedent in other cases.
8. The writ petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
9. Let a copy of this order be given Dasti under the signature of the Court Master.
