Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) sign an MoU to share resources and infuse professionalism amongst Industry stakeholders

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and the Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Regd.) (HCCI) in Panchkula today.  Dr K.L. Dhingra, Head, Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy, IICA, and Shri Rajneesh Garg, president, HCCI, inked the MoU in the presence of many leading industrialists/businessmen from this area.  Shri C.B. Goel, past president of HCCI was also present on the occasion.

The objective of the MoU is to synergise the expertise of the HCCI and the IICA with the aim to share the resources and infuse professionalism amongst the Industry stakeholders in terms of training the functionaries. HCCI, in collaboration with the IICA, will organise programmes to professionalise owners/young trade and Industry managers/employees with related specialisations that may be offered to widen the knowledge spectrum and improve their skill sets.

Dr. Dhingra emphasised that it is a timely initiative, as the training of functionaries of industrial units in Haryana will result in impactful capacity building and creating a cadre of persons with more professionalism. Shri Garg added that the capacity building of the functionaries is required in order to enable the units to scale up their operations. He also stated that it is matter of great honour for HCCI to be the first such organisation in Haryana to build such relationship with an apex Institute of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (IICA).
